Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a commercial building in Salford Quays and Trafford, with time split between sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance alongside the on-site team, ensuring electrical systems run safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, have experience in commercial maintenance and possess good communication skills for client liaison.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above).
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Monitor electrical plant and equipment
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Lighting – lamps, ballasts and fittings
• Emergency lighting testing and repairs
• Small power and socket repairs
• Escort specialist subcontractors and assist with general building maintenance duties
