Job summary

Kinnerton Confectionery at Fakenham is seeking an experienced Engineer to keep production machinery safe, efficient and reliable on a night shift in the Nut area. Working 4 on 4 off days and nights, you will support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer with a recognised apprenticeship and manufacturing experience; CMMS literacy and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical bias and multi-skilled engineering capability.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience with manufacturing machinery (detectors, wrappers, PLCs) and CMMS software.
• Good communication, independent work style and high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance to set standards and timelines.
• Perform additional engineering tasks per requests while following safety policies.
• Maintain and improve machine performance to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver management objectives including training compliance (>95%).
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen projects.
