Job summary

Future Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a market‑leading food manufacturer in Wisbech. You will maintain and repair production machinery, perform PPMs and diagnose electrical faults on 3‑phase systems and PLCs.

The role operates on a night shift (4 on, 4 off) from 6pm to 6am, with a salary band of £50,000–£55,000 plus an OTE around £53,000. Benefits include life insurance, medical cover, pension, holiday, and longevity in a brand‑new site.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance background in manufacturing or food sector.
• Experience with 3‑phase systems and PLC fault finding.
• Time-served engineer with formal qualifications such as City & Guilds or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery (peelers, labellers, etc.).
• Perform PPMs and respond to reactive maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults including 3‑phase systems and PLCs.
• Work across control systems to support production uptime.
• Night shift: 4 on 4 off, 6pm–6am.
