Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated distribution facility. Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial environment.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Comfortable working permanent night shifts.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Good understanding of three-phase systems, motors, sensors and control circuits.
• Mechanical maintenance experience including bearings, belts, motors and pneumatics.
• Experience using CMMS maintenance systems.
• Ability to work safely at height.
• Comfortable working independently while supporting junior engineers when required.
• Experience working on automated handling or conveyor systems.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Experience with conveyors, compressors, labeling systems or similar automated machinery.
• Experience in fast-paced maintenance environments.

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on automated equipment.

• Take ownership of planned maintenance activities and improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise operations.
