Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our on-site facilities management team at Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford. You will perform PPMs and reactive maintenance, fault finding and electrical repairs in a busy retail setting.

The role suits an electrically qualified engineer with experience in commercial buildings, able to carry out minor installation works and collaborate with other trades while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and building services in commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical systems and controls.
• Good written and spoken English; basic IT skills for maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and respond to site engineering emergencies.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting and fire alarm interfaces; support BMS equipment where required.
• Support minor installation works, small projects and site improvement activity.
• Collaborate with mechanical and other trade engineers to resolve issues safely and quickly.
• Update maintenance records, site logs, PPM paperwork and equipment reports accurately.
• Liaise with subcontractors, obtain quotations and ensure works meet required standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent CBRE professionally with clients and visitors.
• Follow health, safety, compliance and site procedures at all times.
