Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to support the 3M client in Skelmersdale. The role is fixed-site, five days a week, with flexibility for the right candidate.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, inspect equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure peak site performance while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: BS 7671 with City & Guilds Level 2.
• Desirable: City & Guilds Level 3 including AM2 and an inspection/testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
• Proven 2+ years in electrical maintenance or equivalent.
• Strong fault diagnosis and hands-on maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical equipment and lighting to minimize downtime.
• Carry out electrical inspections for safety, functionality, and compliance with UK regulations.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams to optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documents.
