Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site in Wales. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned preventive maintenance and work with the Engineering Manager and production staff to keep plant equipment running.

The role includes a circa £53,600 salary, 4 on 4 off shifts (2 days and 2 nights) and a front-line position within a large, busy plant.

Qualifications

• Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant machinery

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to repair process equipment and plant machinery
• Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure plant reliability
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance as required
• Follow site Health & Safety procedures and report any risks via the internal reporting process

Specialising in the FMCG sector, this client offers a diverse role within a company that operates within a booming industry. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, working within a large, busy manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for responding to break downs and working PPM's.

• Shifts based role (Panama - break down listed below)
• Commutable from Ellesmere Port, Chester, Deeside, Flint, North Wales
• FMCG manufacturing business
• 4 on 4 off shifts (2 Days and 2 Nights)

Job Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• PLC fault finding skills
• Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Responding to break downs and reactive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.

Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Working experience within highly automated environments
