Job summary

Start People Ltd in Flint is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role within a leading manufacturing client. The position offers continental shifts: 2 days and 2 nights, with a salary of £53,644.24 per year plus a 5% bonus and overtime.

You will support manufacturing processes by responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance, taking a proactive approach to fix faults and prevent repeat failures.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship with NVQ L3 or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Qualification in ONC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily tasks to optimise the time available.
• Diagnose the issues presented to them and complete the required tasks in timely manner.
• Ability to get to the root cause of issues and make corrective improvements.
• Flexible – to provide additional cover in time of sickness, holiday and extreme workload.
• To maintain GMP and hygiene requirements in line with standards. Total compliance with all H & S requirements both legal and internal.

Maintenance Engineer (Permanent) - Flint

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role with our market leading manufacturing client in Flint.

The purpose of the role is to support manufacturing processes by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns in addition to carrying out scheduled maintenance work. A proactive approach is required to the correction and modification of machine processing faults to ensure repeat failures do not occur.
