Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a state-of-the-art, high automation food manufacturing facility in Milnrow. The role covers electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and preventative tasks to maximize uptime and efficiency across packaging and production equipment.

You will join a team delivering continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with a proactive health and safety approach and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience maintaining production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to identify faults and minimise production downtime.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Proactive approach to health and safety.
• Desirable: experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
• Apprentice-trained engineering background.
• Experience with automated production and packaging machinery.
• Familiarity with CMMS maintenance systems and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding across automated equipment.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure maximum uptime, reliability and efficiency of production lines.
