Job summary

APEX APPOINT LTD near March, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer for a hands-on role in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. You’ll perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive breakdown support on PLC-controlled machinery.

The role offers a £47,000 salary on a 3-shift rotation, permanent contract, and ongoing training across modern production equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLC experience.
• Mechanical maintenance competency alongside electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Reactive breakdown support.
• Working with PLC-controlled machinery across production equipment.
• Identify recurring faults and support root cause analysis.
