Job summary

Synergi seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Andover. You will perform electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance on production equipment, with a focus on planned and reactive work and potential upgrades.

The role requires an apprentice-trained engineer with NVQ3 or equivalent and experience with PLC systems. A 3-shift rotation, healthcare, and generous holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with an NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and a 3-shift rotation pattern is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLC control systems and basic mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance and upgrades.
• Record data on refurbishment and overhauls required.
• Support operations by developing training materials for teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and solve problems.
• Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies.
• Analyse PLC faults and diagnose external faults using various software programs.
