Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Limited is partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an electrically biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent day shift role.

Based on a 4 on / 4 off days pattern (6:00am - 6:00pm) with £50k+ overtime available, you will undertake PPM, reactive repairs, fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment and support site improvements while ensuring food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship or relevant electrical/ mechanical qualification.
• Electrically biased with strong multi-skilled maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years' food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG or food production environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled machinery.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Northampton.
