Job summary

The R&A is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at a commercial static site in Bristol, with occasional cover across four additional sites. This role offers strong training, career progression, and overtime opportunities within a professional environment.

You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on building services, fault-find and repair electrical systems, and support across multiple sites while maintaining thorough records

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
• Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial building services.
• Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, and associated equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring faults are diagnosed and resolved efficiently.
• Complete routine inspections, testing, and minor electrical works where required.
• Support maintenance requirements across four additional sites on an occasional basis.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
