Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Electrical / HVAC Maintenance Engineer to cover the Northwest region. The role requires over 5 years of experience in similar positions, including knowledge of electrical systems and BMS controls. You will be responsible for general maintenance duties and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The position offers an on-call allowance and involves a rotating callout cycle, aiming for the highest standard in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical / HVAC / Maintenance Engineer roles.
• Knowledge of electrical plant, including Air Handling Units and controls.
• Experience with electrical installations, testing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical and HVAC maintenance tasks.
• Maintain site log books, permits, and paperwork.
• Participate in on-call rota on a rotating basis.

Location: Yorkshire

Hours: 40 hours per week

• General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance
• Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting / rewires / electrical testing and all general electrical duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site.
• Health and safety awareness.
• To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.
• The callout rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks).
• This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering Predominantly Northwest.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical /HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

Knowledge and experience of all electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories).

Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.

Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issuing written electrical test/minor works reports etc.

Qualifications

Approved Electrical Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement.

Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation is a minimum requirement.

Testing & Inspection 2391 Cert would be beneficial to role.
