Job summary

ECG Facilities Services, established in 1994, is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service commercial, retail and industrial sites across the UK. The role covers the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas and involves on-site electrical and HVAC maintenance, safety, and documentation.

You will join a mobile team, be flexible and client-focused, with a background in facilities maintenance preferred. Approved electrical qualifications and 18th Edition accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Approved Electrical Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement.
• Passed AM2 (English qualification) or SVQ level 3 Electrical qualification with a final trade test being completed.
• Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation is a minimum requirement.
• Testing & Inspection 2391-52 Certification would be beneficial to role.

Responsibilities

• General electrical and HVAC plant maintenance.
• Maintenance, repairs and replacements of lighting, rewires, electrical testing, and other electrical duties including mechanical and plumbing on site.
• Maintain on-site log books, permits and site paperwork, ensuring they are up to date.
• The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focused.

We are now recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a facilities maintenance background.

Our client base is Managing agents of commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation, Housing association, Football stadiums, Public and Private sector.

• General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance
• Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting / rewires /electrical testing and all general electrical duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site.
• Health and safety awareness.
• To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.
• The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.
• This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering predominantly the Glasgow area OR Edinburgh area.
