Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Portsmouth – Up to £40,081 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in Portsmouth. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and proven experience in electrical building maintenance.

This position is suitable for an electrical maintenance engineer seeking progression. The company offers a competitive salary of £40,081 and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting installation, fault-finding, and lamp replacement
• Emergency lighting testing
• Control panel maintenance
• Ballast replacement
• Monitoring BMS systems (hot & cold)
• All aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintaining and updating log books
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
• Pumps and motors maintenance
• Water treatment

Hours of Work

4-week rotating schedule:

• Week 1 & 2: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:15 pm
• Week 3: Off Monday to Wednesday; Thursday 12:15 pm – 10 pm; Friday 12 pm – 9 pm; Saturday & Sunday 8 am – 10 pm
• Week 4: Monday to Wednesday 12:15 pm – 10 pm; Thursday to Sunday off
