Job Description:

Multi-Skilled Service Engineer - Electrical Bias

Location: West Quay, Southampton (Site Based)

Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Integral is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible for maintenance and reactive duties at West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance according to the company's PPM and task schedules.
• Undertake PPM activities professionally and with quality.
• Use and complete CAFM system.
• Be part of the current shift team (Early, late, & weekend).
• Produce technical and situational reports as required.
• Perform additional duties on site when requested.
• Use technology systems proactively to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Carry out works professionally and proactively.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team and clients.
• Provide first-line out of hours call-out service.
• Write activity reports accurately and timely.
• Assist management in producing quotations for extra works.
• Attend team meetings/briefings.
• Provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time.
• Maintain a professional company image.
• Perform reactive maintenance as directed by Help Desk or management.
• Escalate major site issues promptly.
• Manage subcontractors on site.
• Understand and comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation.
• Handle, store, and use materials and equipment safely.
• Participate in health and safety processes, including incident reporting and risk assessments.
• Follow any other reasonable instructions from management.
• Co-operate with the company to fulfill legal and moral duties.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a commercial environment.
• Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / NVQ or C&G (Essential).
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition if holding 17th Edition).
• Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation extraction, plumbing, and general fabric.
• Excellent communication skills across all staff levels.
• Proactive approach to achieving high standards.
• Good IT and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and delivering services within time constraints.
