Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large private healthcare site in Basingstoke. The role is a Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm shift, paying up to £27 per hour.

Initial contract is 3 months with a view to permanent depending on performance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of building services, be electrically trained with 3+ years in commercial maintenance, and hold 17th/18th edition and Level 3 Electrical installation qualifications.

Qualifications

• Electrically trained with relevant commercial/building maintenance experience.
• 17th or 18th edition required.
• Level 3 Electrical installation qualification required.
• Client-facing role—presentation and communication skills important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance on a large site.
• Maintain electrical systems including lighting, emergency lighting, sockets and distribution boards.
• Work on basic BMS and controls as required.
• Ensure all statutory requirements are complied with.
• Collaborate with wider FM team to keep the site running smoothly.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Basingstoke - Temp to Perm

Invictus are recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static healthcare site, in Basingstoke. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a contract vacancy lasting a minimum of 3 months before going perm.

You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.

The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and the site being a large private healthcare facility in Basingstoke.

Job Role

The position is a Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm role and it will be paying up to £27 per hour.

Duties

• Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed
• Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
• Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained
• Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
• This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.

Skills Required

The successful candidate MUST have:

• Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services.
• Must have 17th or 18th edition
• Must have Level 3 Electrical installation
• Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
