Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham on a temp-to-perm basis. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static healthcare site, with a 7:00am–3:30pm Monday to Friday shift, earning up to £27 per hour.

The role requires detailed knowledge of electrical systems, lighting and basic BMS controls, plus the ability to interface with clients professionally. Immediate start for a contract of at least 3 months with potential to go permanent.

Qualifications

• Electrically trained with at least 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance and services.
• Must hold 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Work on lighting, emergency lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution and basic BMS/controls.
• Ensure all statutory requirements are maintained on-site.
• Support general upkeep and fabric maintenance on a large healthcare facility.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Birmingham - Temp to Perm

Invictus are recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static healthcare site, in Birmingham. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a contract vacancy lasting a minimum of 3 months before going perm.

You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.

The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and the site being a large private healthcare facility in Birmingham.

Job Role

The position is a Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm role and it will be paying up to £27 per hour.

Duties

• Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed
• Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
• Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained
• Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
• This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.
