Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer for a large factory. The role involves maintaining fast-moving production machinery with a bias toward electrical work, in a 3‑shift rotation (earlies, lates, nights) and potential for progression.

You will work in a small team, carrying out reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and participate in projects and new installations. A recognised electrical or multi-skilled apprenticeship is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship in either Electrical or Multi Skilled Engineering.
• Background and experience in maintenance or service work in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Electrical Maintenance or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background desirable.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support production machinery in a small engineer team with reactive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, projects, new installations and refurbishments.

Role: Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £53,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for further increases and progression, plus benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3 shift rotation (earlies, lates and nights) - early finishes on Friday's!

Location: Commutable from Reading, Basingstoke, Andover, Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to work within a large factory, supporting maintenance of their fast moving production machinery. Some members of the Engineering Team have been in their roles for 20+ years, and need someone who is a good team player and enjoys turning their hands to both mechanical and electrical duties but holding an electrical bias. The role would suit someone who is electrical trained or bias and looking to work within a great team and company with future opportunities to advance.

Responsibilities

Working in a team of between 2 Engineers on-shift, you will be tasked to support the production machinery including reactive, trouble‑shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, projects, new installations and refurbishments. So it is varied and enjoyable.

Requirements

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship in either Electrical or Multi Skilled Engineering
• Background and experience in maintenance or service work or similar environment, manufacturing or industrial
• Electrical Maintenance OR Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
• Have ANY of the following electrical/mechanical experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps etc. – any experience of these will be considered
• Friendly and adaptable working attitude
• Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
