Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Hours: 39
Salary: £40,774.73 - £45,871.57 (12.5% shift allowance)
Please note - we operate a weekly rolling shift pattern, 6am - 2pm (early) and 2pm - 10:00pm (late).

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage outstanding and upcoming machine maintenance tasks
- Respond to any breakdowns
- Coordinate and control on-site contractors in line with company processes
- Ensure HSE KPIs and all relevant legislative requirements are consistently met
- Attend and actively participate in training to minimise skills gaps
- Support the maintenance strategy to improve reliability and up-time, driving towards world-class standards
- Analyse major breakdowns through comprehensive root cause analysis, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Attend and contribute to team briefings and operational meetings
Who We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline as a minimum
- Time served in an electrical maintenance role, with experience carrying out both planned/preventative maintenance as well as being able to respond to breakdowns
- Strong understanding of sound engineering practices
- Proven ability in fault find and problem solve within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience of continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
- IT literate, with working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
