Job summary

Wren Kitchens in Barton-upon-Humber is recruiting Electrical Engineers to join our expanding factory team. The role offers a rotating shift pattern (mornings/afternoons) or afternoons-only, with a salary of £41,500 to £44,500.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding including PLC troubleshooting, and continuous improvements using the CMMS (Shire System). A Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification and 18th Edition are preferred, with strong communication under

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition with valid IEE regulations (Desirable).
• Experience in a similar electrical function and industrial environment, ideally in woodworking industry/FMCG.
• Understanding of PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding including PLC, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
• Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.

• Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (Shire System).
• Proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a can-do attitude.

About The Role

We are recruiting for Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our Barton-Upon-Humber factory. The candidate will work either a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern or solely afternoons. The salary for this position ranges from £41,500 to £44,500.

Main Responsibilities

• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Provide rapid and professional response to breakdowns.
• Fault finding including PLC, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to enure minimum lost production time.
• Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.
• Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process).
• Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (Shire System).
• To proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a can-do attitude.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

Desired Skills and Knowledge
