We are currently seeking a professional Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will undertake planned and reactive maintenance at our client premises, Hull Women & Children's Hospital. The post holder should be hardworking, committed to high standards, and professional in interactions with clients.

As Part Of The Role, You Will

• Perform legislative PPM tasks including Emergency Luminaire Inspection, Testing, and Repair
• Conduct reactive maintenance on various plant and equipment as directed
• Fault diagnosis and solution implementation
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, diagnosing faults and taking preventive actions
• Maintain up-to-date records of all work on plant and equipment
• Provide emergency call-out coverage on a rota basis (1 in 4 weeks)
• Operate the contract proactively to minimize difficulties with environmental systems
• Ensure effective communication with clients and the company
• Liaise with subcontractors and engineers to ensure efficient plant operation

Our Ideal Candidate Will Need To Have

• City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering; BS7671 - 18th Edition; additional qualifications like 2391 are desirable
• Evidence of multi-skilled training
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Knowledge of building services systems and maintenance management
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with BMS Systems
• Ability to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call-out response times

Desirable

• Experience in a facilities management role or hospital environment
• Experience with controls systems
