Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Kettering for a leading manufacturing business. You will maintain high-speed production equipment and provide site services in a well-established production environment.

This Monday–Friday day role, 07:30–15:30, includes a starting salary of £60,000. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC systems, update drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to join a well-established production environment, working on high-speed manufacturing equipment and site services.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot and interrogate PLC systems, including making basic program changes.
• Support electrical installations, control systems, power distribution.
• Update electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
