Job summary

TipTopJob in Wales is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established maintenance team. The role is days-based, Monday to Friday, with weekends free and great job security in a food-manufacturing environment.

You will operate and maintain plant equipment, carry out daily maintenance, support production with electrical issues and setups, and contribute to quality, cost and safety improvements. A HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering and 18th Edition training are desirable.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering; 18th Edition training preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan workloads to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment in the correct manner.
• Carry out daily maintenance to keep equipment fit for purpose.
• Maintain housekeeping standards on a daily basis.
• Drive continual improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assist production with electrical problems and setups; provide training when appropriate.
• Complete daily maintenance check sheets and job cards.

With Operations across the UK and with an ever expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer are planning the next part of their recruitment push in the Maintenance team. Following their recent investment they are looking for an Electrical maintenance engineer to join their well:established maintenance team, the position would provide you with excellent job security as well as opportunities to work overtime and earn extra money on top of the salary and shift. The role is a Days based position Monday : Friday which would give you the weekends free to enjoy the lifestyle mid Wales would provide.

Role And Responsibilities

• Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with electrical problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• A HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering and appropriate post:apprenticeship experience in a food manufacturing environment would be of benefit.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• Having completed 18th Edition training is necessary
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
