Job summary

The Mill in Stratford, East London is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a large on-site team on a busy commercial estate. You will perform electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance across lighting, emergency lighting, BMS, UPS, AHUs/FCUs, water systems and basic plumbing.

Working Monday to Friday with regular overtime, you will benefit from on-site parking, ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 Electrical qualifications.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Stratford, East London – Up to £48,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established FM service provider based on a unique commercial estate in Stratford, East London. Our client is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased, C&G qualified) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical environment such as a bank or blue-chip office. Working as part of a large on-site maintenance team, you will carry out a mix of electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance duties, including:

• Lighting – small installation works, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, power distribution
• Emergency lighting
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Air conditioning – AHUs/FCUs (filter changes and cleaning)
• Water treatment (temperature checks, dosing)
• Basic plumbing (including unblocking toilets)
• BMS systems
• UPS systems

Hours of Work, Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 and 10:00-19:00. Plenty of overtime available.
