Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in Doncaster. You will work in the maintenance team, performing PPM and reactive maintenance to keep production machinery safe, reliable and operational.

The role requires strong fault finding on Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs, with duties including electrical fault diagnosis, motor and hydraulic/pneumatic systems maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• PPM and reactive maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Qualifications in electrical/engineering desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Fault-find on Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Maintain and repair motors, extrusion machines, mixers, heaters and winders.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain shafts, bearings and other mechanical components.
• Identify recurring faults and support continuous improvement.
• Minimise production downtime through effective fault diagnosis and repair.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £38,000 + Profit Share Bonus

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (flexible)

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring production machinery remains safe, reliable and operational.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Fault-find on Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.

About You

• Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery, ideally Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley.
• Good mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
• Relevant electrical/engineering qualifications are desirable
