Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our established maintenance team at a busy manufacturing site. You will work on rotating days and nights, with no weekend work, focusing on electrical fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance.

The role offers a £38,000-£40,000 salary plus a 10% shift premium and an occasional bonus scheme, 28 days’ holiday, and overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance environment.
• Ability to fault-find on PLCs and drives and read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities to optimise production processes and improve machine efficiency.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Doncaster

I am looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established Maintenance Team with a Manufacturer in Doncaster.

This is a family-run manufacturer and a market leader in their sector, working on a rotating shift pattern including days and nights, with no weekend work.

£38,000-£40,000 10% Shift Premium

£6,000-£7,000 in Bonus

Rotating Days and Nights (No Weekends)

The Role

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities to optimise production processes and improve machine efficiency.

Work on a range of electrical equipment and systems, including

• Drives and control boards.
• PLCs.
• Relays and contactors.
• Electrical wiring systems.
• Electrical wiring diagrams.
• Thermocouples.
• Solid-state relays (SSRs).
• Pumps and blowers.

About You

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working in an industrial electrical maintenance environment.
• Experience fault-finding on PLCs and drives (advantageous).
• The ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Extrusion experience (desirable but not essential).
• Basic mechanical knowledge (desirable but not essential).
