Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Dewsbury for a Monday–Friday role with 7am–4pm hours. You will contribute to maintenance plans, drive PPMs and tackle reactive maintenance, supporting a leading UK manufacturing group with 42 sites.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Strong Health and Safety awareness essential.
• Experience as Maintenance/Electrical Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance plans, drive PPMs and perform reactive maintenance.
• Undertake improvement projects as part of the maintenance team.
• Identify and eliminate recurring plant issues through engineering improvements.

Based in the area of Dewsbury, the working hours for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role are Monday to Friday only. The hours of work are 7am-4pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role offers a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus a company pension matched to 10% and generous holiday allowance, plus a 5% yearly KPI bonus.

Duties of Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Assisting with maintenance plans, driving PPMs and performing reactive maintenance
• Undertaking improvement projects as part of the maintenance team
• Responsible for identifying and eliminating recurring plant issues through engineering improvements

Experience and Qualifications Required for Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Engineering qualifications: Full Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 and ONC, BTEC Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Strong Health and Safety awareness
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Lead Engineer etc.
• Previous experience undertaking maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of the development and application of PPM activities and knowledge of reactive maintenance techniques
