Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site in Huddersfield. You will maintain and improve plant reliability, carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency.

The role requires an electrical bias, Level 3 Electrical qualification, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to fault-find and read electrical schematics.
• Full rights to work in the UK.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: £49,000 - £53,000

Shift: Earlies, lates, nights (8 hour shifts with a requirement to work 1 in every 3 Saturday mornings)

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful operation, playing a key role in maintaining and improving plant reliability.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Electrical bias
• Level 3 Electrical qualification as a minimum
• Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
• Full rights to work in the UK

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Hands on electrical fault finding experience
• Able to understand electrical schematics
• Experienced working on hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong health and safety knowledge

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• IOSH qualification desirable
• Experience working within an FMCG environment
