Acorn by Synergy in Devon is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a site-based team. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault-finding and reactive repairs across electrical systems, plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires an strong background in electrical maintenance, experience with PPM, reading electrical drawings, and a focus on delivering high service levels on a major construction project.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels and circuit protection.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, plant, machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate test equipment, electrical drawings and fault-finding techniques.
• Replace faulty electrical components, lighting and associated equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UK electrical safety legislation and company procedures.
• Complete maintenance records, inspection reports and work orders accurately
• Identify recurring faults and recommend preventative measures to improve equipment reliability.
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager, maintenance teams and contractors to support efficient service delivery.

You will be responsible to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), electrical inspections, fault-finding and reactive repairs across electrical systems, plant, machinery and associated equipment.
