Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a full-time, permanent mobile role covering Cardiff and the surrounding area.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial electrical maintenance background, hold City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and preferably AM2 or 2391 Test and Inspect. You will drive a company van, travel to sites across South Wales, and contribute to a busy service team.

Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial electrical maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition.
• 2391 is preferred; AM2 can be considered with training.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on commercial sites.
• Test and inspect own works where required.
• Able to complete out of hours work when needed.
• Travel to Cardiff and surrounding areas as part of mobile role.

Job description

Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Covering Cardiff and surrounding areas

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £40,000 to £4 3,000 plus travel time, bonus and overtime (NO ON CALL)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a full time, permanent mobile position covering Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

This position will be working for a very well established building services company that have sites throughout the South Wales and South West areas.

The right person for this position will already have a strong commercial Electrical Maintenance background. They need to be holding NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 qualification as well as 18th Edition. We would prefer this engineer to have 2391 Test and Inspect, however, we can look at engineers that have completed their AM2 and put them through the 2391 qualification if required.

Requirement
