Construction is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support ongoing works across North Wales on various sites, delivering electrical installation, maintenance and testing services.

The role includes a salary between 32,000 and 36,000, a company vehicle, fuel card, overtime opportunities, and strong benefits including pension and training. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across North Wales sites.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.

• Complete work safely and to regulations; maintain high workmanship standards on client sites.

A well-established electrical contractor known for delivering electrical installation, maintenance and testing services across a diverse portfolio of public sector and commercial properties throughout Wales is expanding their team due to continuous growth. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support ongoing works across multiple sites throughout North Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician seeking a varied role with long-term security, career development and the chance to work on high-profile public sector contracts.

The Role

Working across a range of operational sites throughout North Wales, your duties will include:

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repair works
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Planned and reactive electrical maintenanceInspection and testing of electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications
• Completing work safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on client sites

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS or CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience carrying out maintenance, installation and fault-finding work
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• Experience completing inspection and testing works
• Commercial, industrial or public sector experience

Important Information

Work will be carried out across various police and fire service sites throughout North Wales. Applicants must be able to pass the required vetting checks associated with these environments.
