Electrical Maintenance Fitters - Continental or Night Shifts

Location: Brownhills-Cannock

Salary: £58,000

Electrical Maintenance Engineer (industrial) is needed to help a skilled team keep a globally respected company running at its best with high-quality reactive and planned maintenance.

The Role

• You will respond to breakdowns, fix problems effectively, report and analyze breakdowns, suggest and implement corrective actions, and assist in installing new equipment as needed.
• Occasionally, you will help train apprentices and attend training yourself.
• Support the team and company with overtime hours to ensure job completion.

The Company

A well-known, state-of-the-art manufacturing group based in Brownhills near Walsall. The company supplies UK overseas customers with high-quality metal components made to tight tolerances. They undertake design, virtual analysis, and can produce prototypes and prototype items to order. All facilities are certified to TS16949, ISO9001, and ISO14001.

The Person

• Qualified in electrical engineering with experience in manufacturing, including Single Phase Wiring, 3 Phase, fault finding, wiring repairs, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Experience with 3 Phase motors, Start/Star Delta Induction, and troubleshooting and maintaining industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand PLC switchgear.
• Work to 18th Edition Wiring Standards or similar qualification.
