Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for its Kings Norton site. The role focuses on maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, PLC-driven controls, and adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.

You will work in a team or independently, with opportunities to broaden skills in plastics machinery, circuits, motors, and drives within a PLC-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Full apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
• Manufacturing experience within an automated environment.
• Experience with plastics machinery, circuits, motors & drives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Operate and service PLC-controlled machinery and drives.
• Follow planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Work autonomously or as part of a team to minimise downtime.

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering, with manufacturing experience and ideally have a multi skilled background working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working within an automated environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience of plastics machinery, circuits, motors and drives within an automated PLC controlled environment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. There is a huge amount of variety on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
