Job summary

Bath College in Radstock, England, seeks a Lecturer/Assessor in Electrical to deliver high-quality teaching and on-site assessments for apprenticeships. The role includes classroom and workshop theory and practical delivery, with responsibilities to plan, assess and diversify sessions in the electrical field.

Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Salary bands listed; industry uplift possible for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English and Maths at Grade B or above.
• A nationally recognised qualification, at least to level 3, in an Electrical discipline.
• 18th Edition, 2nd Amendment qualification.
• TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards).
• Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of teaching and learning and monitor assessment processes.
• Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans and learning materials.
• Plan and deliver specialist sessions embedding diversity within the electrical industry.
• Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments.
• Support the department's success and vision.
