Job summary

Bimplus in Kent seeks an experienced Solar Project Manager (Electrical) to lead delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV and electrical installations across the UK. This hands-on role combines electrical expertise with project and site management: overseeing from installation through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and high standards.

You will coordinate electrical teams, manage RAMS, construction phase plans and liaise with clients and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering commercial and industrial electrical PV installation projects.
• Experience testing, commissioning and certifying electrical installations.
• Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
• Experience preparing RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and health & safety documentation.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical installation teams across commercial and industrial projects.
• Manage the delivery of Solar PV, electrical infrastructure, battery storage and EV charging projects.
• Oversee containment, switchgear, cabling, power distribution and associated electrical works.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Manage testing, inspection, commissioning and certification activities.
• Prepare and manage RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and project documentation.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety briefings
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, quality, commercial performance and compliance.
• Manage project handovers and completion documentation.
