Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick (BBK) is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Planning Manager to lead the Electrical Construction Planning team for Hinkley Point C, coordinating schedules and lookaheads. You will manage interfaces across disciplines, ensure four-week lookaheads are developed, and provide weekly planning and progress information.

This role requires leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to gain security clearance, with smart working options available.

Qualifications

• An HNC in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in planning and construction environments.
• Strong track record of developing detailed construction schedules.
• Ability to identify constraints, interfaces and programme risks.
• Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Previous leadership or line-management experience.
• Ability to gain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Electrical Construction Planners.
• Develop and maintain integrated Level 5 electrical construction schedules.
• Coordinate four-week electrical lookaheads and contribute to the 16-week lookahead.
• Ensure activities entering the four-week window are ready for construction.
• Manage planning interfaces across mechanical, HVAC, civil and commissioning.
• Produce weekly electrical planning and progress-review information.
• Provide electrical planning input into the wider MEH programme.
