Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Planning Manager to lead the Electrical Construction Planning team for the Hinkley Point C project. You will coordinate electrical planning across the programme, ensuring integrated schedules align with milestones and support safe, predictable delivery.

You will lead a team of planners, develop detailed lookaheads, manage interfaces with other disciplines, and provide weekly progress information to help the MEH programme stay on

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering is required.
• Experience in planning and construction environments.
• Strong experience developing and managing detailed construction schedules.
• Ability to identify constraints, interfaces and programme risks.
• Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Previous leadership or line-management experience.
• Ability to gain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Electrical Construction Planners.
• Develop and maintain integrated Level 5 electrical construction schedules.
• Coordinate four-week electrical lookaheads and contribute to the 16-week lookahead.
• Ensure activities entering the four-week delivery window are ready for construction.
• Manage planning interfaces across mechanical, HVAC, civil and commissioning activities.
• Produce weekly electrical planning and progress-review information.
• Provide electrical planning input into the wider MEH programme.
