Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias to lead electrical maintenance across Hull CDC in a healthcare environment. You will deliver PPM and reactive tasks, fault-find electrical systems, and support LV switchgear with safe isolation and documentation.

You’ll also provide first-line mechanical support, liaise with clinical teams, and ensure safe, compliant operations in patient-care areas. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience in healthcare, critical environments or similar.
• Proven multi-skilled maintenance capability.
• Authorized Person/Competent Person experience (or willingness to train).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site to required standards.
• Undertake fault-finding, diagnosis, repair and replacement of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support LV switchgear operations with safe isolation and reinstatement.
• Coordinate minor works certification, EICR support, and PAT coordination.
• Act as electrical point of contact for audits, inspections and contractor activities.
• Deliver first-line mechanical and fabric support as needed on site.
• Maintain records on CAFM and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
