Job summary

Boden Group in Birmingham is seeking an Electrical Lead Engineer on a temporary basis to oversee a static site.

The role runs Monday to Friday, with 6–3 or 9–5:30 shifts, paying £25-£27 per hour via umbrella. You will supervise a multi-skilled engineer, deliver PPM and reactive maintenance, carry out fault finding and electrical inspections, and participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications including 18th Edition.
• Experience in Engineering Lead, Lead Engineer or Supervisory roles.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience in Facilities Management.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance (PPM/Reactive).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

As an Electrical Lead Engineer, your duties will be to:

• Carry out fault finding, inspections and electrical maintenance activities.
• Complete emergency lighting testing, sprinkler testing and tap changes. Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.

To be successful, you will need:

• Electrical qualifications including 18th Edition.
• Previous experience in an Engineering Lead, Lead Engineer or Supervisory position.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience within Facilities Management.
• Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance delivery.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
