SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is recruiting a Craftsperson (Jointing) in Middlewich. You will construct, maintain and repair the electrical distribution network, including cablehead work, fuse replacement and fault location, while adhering to safety standards and delivering reliable service.

The role requires a City and Guilds/NVQ equivalent and a valid driving licence, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and understanding of jointing, testing and fault finding.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site works are carried out safely and in accordance with policy and rules.
• Undertake cablehead changes, fuse replacement, fault location, generator deployment and jointing work with proper safety documentation.
• Plan and carry out work safely, in teams or alone, with proactive attitude.
