Job summary

UK Power Networks in Maidstone is seeking a Craft Attendant Jointer to join our field operations. You will report to the field staff supervisor and work within the network operations in our Maidstone based office as a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.

You will carry out electrical works from new connections to diversions, ensuring safety and quality, with a salary of £34,276 plus a 3% bonus and benefits. A medical and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 2339 (formally 2322) certificate or equivalent.
• HAUC (NRSWA) qualification as a supervisor and operative.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Location and restoration of faults on the LV underground Network.
• Domestic connection of new/altered housing supplies and/or reinforcements.
• Connection of diversions both HV/LV for developers or Local Authorities up to 33KV.
• Carry out risk assessments and maintain safe working practices.
• Delivery of the job to time and guaranteed service levels.
