Job summary

UK Power Networks (Operations) Ltd in Maidstone is seeking a Craft Attendant Jointer to help maintain and improve the electricity network across Kent. This hands-on role involves fault location and LV underground repairs, connecting new supplies, and supporting network alterations.

You'll work outdoors in a close-knit team, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer service and teamwork. Previous electrical or cable jointing experience is beneficial, but training towards industry qualifications

Craft Attendant Jointer -Maidstone

Join UK Power Networks as a Craft Attendant Jointer and play a key role in maintaining and improving the electricity network that serves homes and businesses across Kent. Based in Maidstone, you'll be involved in a wide range of activities including fault location and repairs on the LV underground network, connecting new supplies, supporting network alterations and delivering customer-driven projects. This is a hands‑on operational role where safety, teamwork and customer service are at the heart of everything you do, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while developing valuable technical skills.

We're looking for practical, motivated individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors and being part of a close‑knit team. Previous electrical or cable jointing experience would be beneficial, but training and development support will be provided, including working towards industry‑recognised qualifications where required.
