Job summary

Chesterfield College is seeking an experienced Workbase Tutor to mentor, coach and assess students on Electrical Installation Apprenticeships. The role includes managing a caseload, conducting workplace visits and ensuring timely completion of the Apprenticeship Standard.

You will liaise with employers and internal departments to support learner progression. Applicants must be occupationally competent electricians with NVQ L3 or equivalent, and hold A1 TAQA 301 and V1 TAQA 401 awards.

Qualifications

• Must be an occupationally competent electrician with appropriate qualifications.
• Experience delivering assessment, teaching or coaching for apprenticeships.
• Flexibility to travel and work additional hours; Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach and assess Electrical Installation Apprenticeship learners.
• Manage a caseload of learners through the Apprenticeship Standard with workplace visits.
• Coordinate with learner, employer and internal teams to ensure timely completion of all apprenticeship elements.
• Provide advice and guidance on enrolment and progression within the programme.
