Job summary
Monarch Education is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer for a 12-week temporary role at a Birmingham college campus (B9). Start on 01/09/2026, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to support learners progressing into the electrical installation industry.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, with UK teaching experience. The role covers practical workshops and classroom delivery with strong focus on safety and DBS
Qualifications
- Must hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and a recognised teaching qualification.
- UK-based teaching experience evidenced on your CV.
- Experience delivering both practical workshop-based and classroom-based learning.
- Ability to engage, motivate and support learners to achieve qualifications.
- Excellent classroom management and workshop health and safety awareness.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Electrical Installation lessons and practical workshops.
- Ensure activities are completed safely and in line with regulations.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners of varying abilities and provide guidance.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Uphold safeguarding and learner welfare standards.
