Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting two Electrical Installation Lecturers to work at TyneMet College and South Tyneside College. These full-time positions offer ongoing temporary work with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

We welcome experienced electricians looking to move into education, or established lecturers seeking a new challenge. Prior teaching is not required, but relevant electrical qualifications and strong industry knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Strong practical experience in the electrical industry.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and demonstrate practical skills clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theoretical lessons and practical electrical installation training.
• Support learners in developing their technical knowledge and practical skills.
• Demonstrate electrical installation techniques and safe working practices.
• Support learner assessments, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in classroom and workshop environments.
• Encourage learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for employment in the electrical industry.
• Promote professional standards, safeguarding and an inclusive learning environment.

Education
