Job summary

Burnley College is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver high-quality teaching across the Division of Construction. You will contribute to student achievement, retention and success rates and work with Curriculum Managers and the Program Leader in Electrical craft areas.

You will teach up to 832 hours per year and may hold a related degree with PGCE or Certificate in Education; if not, the college offers staff development to gain the qualification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electrical Installation and related curriculum areas.
• Experience with Work Based Learning is advantageous.
• Teaching up to Advanced level and across various programs would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teach Electrical Installation across programs, up to 832 hours per year.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Managers and Program Leader in Electrical craft area.
• Assist the division in improving quality and increasing student success.
