Job summary

Hugh Baird College is seeking two Electrical Installation Lecturers to join the Building Services team at the Main Campus in Liverpool. The roles involve delivering high-quality teaching to learners aged 16–18, adults and apprentices across Levels 1–3, with a focus on practical trade skills and assessment.

Candidates should have strong trade expertise and be able to deliver engaging lessons, provide feedback, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma qualifications in Electrical Installation are required.
• AM2 assessment completion is required for apprenticeship delivery.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one is needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Levels 1–3.
• Assess and support learners to achieve their goals.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate course records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Join a supportive team developing the next generation of electricians.
