Job summary

Leeds College of Building is seeking an energetic teacher to deliver both practical workshops and classroom-based theory. You will engage students, share industry knowledge and contribute to their development in the construction and built environment fields.

Experience in industry is valuable; a teaching qualification is not essential as the college will support you to obtain one. The role offers a generous pension, flexible working and strong training opportunities.

£42,477 – £44,969 per annum plus a one-off recruitment incentive of up to £3,000 (dependent on qualifications)

This is a teaching role which involves workshops and classroom learning, your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.

In a typical day, you will be:
  • Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our workshops
  • Delivering theoretical lessons to support the practical applications

Relevant industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment. A teaching qualification is not essential; the College will fund and support you to achieve this.
